Safe homes are just one part of a healthy community!

Safe and healthy homes provide a strong foundation for any community. At Rebuilding Together, we also value the work of community organizations and recognize the importance of public spaces in the health of neighborhood. That’s why – when funding and volunteer resources are available – we partner with other nonprofit organizations, schools, community groups and even with some municipal governments in projects that help to meet community goals. 

Community-based projects have included:

Community gardens

Pocket parks

Nonprofit or school facility upgrades

Fence repairs

Coordination of contracted work
