Community Projects
Rebuilding Together – St. Louis utilizes 2,500 volunteers for both our Rebuilding Day in the spring, and for our year-round projects. For community projects, Rebuilding Together – St. Louis can provide the opportunity for small groups of 10 volunteers to larger groups of 300 volunteers to complete those projects. Examples of community projects in the past include:
• Laid new sod at an athletic field at a local high school
• Painting and making minor repairs at senior nutritional sites
• Revitalizing playgrounds
• Beautification of communities through basic landscaping
Community projects are typically minor repair (painting, planting shrubs) that a general volunteer can complete.
