A Volunteer’s Story

Kevin Howard now works for Mosby Building Arts as an Efficiency Expediter but started out as a part time Project Coordinator with Rebuilding Together St Louis. Working for a non profit was truly a life changing experience for him. “I have been compelled to help as much as I can ever since.”

Even after starting a full time job a Mosby Building Arts, Kevin can still be found sporting his RT House Captain t-shirt and installing cabinets or managing volunteers on the weekends.

Kevin has been a House Captain many times and the lead on several Community Projects.  His favorite part of a Rebuilding Day is “looking at the faces of the people we help and seeing the gratitude and tears of joy.”

What keeps Kevin coming back every year to tirelessly donate his time? “The excitement of seeing how much work volunteers can accomplish in one day with skilled and unskilled volunteers, and how it impacts those families.”
