Volunteer Information

Are you a handy, weekend-warrior type?  Maybe you are a skilled tradesperson or a contractor looking to give back?  Do you know your way around a tool box or a blue print?  If so, please join Rebuilding Together St. Louis as a volunteer!

Individuals with experience and/or expertise in home repair are our largest area of need.  You can help us evaluate homes, lead volunteer groups, and most importantly, make some much-needed repairs for homeowners who need our help.

Volunteer opportunities for Rebuilding Day are available at all skill levels. Volunteers generally work on a single home or civic project and are assigned in groups of between five and 50, with 25 being the average. Volunteers work under the direction of a skilled House Captain, who is assisted by a Volunteer Coordinator.

Work is performed in a single eight hour day where lunch and a Rebuilding Together St. Louis tee shirt is provided.
